Tralco began in 1982. It was founded by Karen Traynor, a second-language teacher who saw the need for the creation of second-language materials that supported textbooks. Since 1988 Tralco has been publishing supplementary materials. Most Tralco materials are French; however, German, Spanish, ESL, and Italian are also available. The product line includes reproducible activity books, videos, music cassettes, games, incentives, computer software and CD-ROMs. We hope these materials help teachers motivate second-language students to understand, communicate and appreciate each other's cultures.
