About Us

Tralco began in 1982. It was founded by Karen Traynor, a second-language teacher who saw the need for the creation of second-language materials that supported textbooks. Since 1988 Tralco has been publishing supplementary materials. Most Tralco materials are French; however, Spanish, ESL, and Italian are also available. The product line includes reproducible activity books, videos, games, incentives, software, readers and online books. We hope these materials help teachers motivate second-language students to understand, communicate and appreciate each other's cultures.

Teachers find our materials practical, easy to use, well priced and enjoyed by their students. Tralco's office is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
