Say "Eiffel Tower" and Paris and France immediately come to mind. Similarly, when you say "The Statue of Liberty", New York and the United States of America are usually your first thoughts.

This video provides an historical perspective of these two symbols, highlights many features that bind them, including common heritage, birth dates, and uses and misuses since their creation.

As well as enriching cultural knowledge and appreciation, this video will especially interest teachers and students who have visited or considering a visit to either of these monuments.
