Although French Festivals and Traditions was designed in the United Kingdom the contents are universal. On those occasions where references are made to Britain or the United Kingdom, Canada or the United States can be easily substituted by the teacher.

No changes have been made to the original publication. Just as different spelling of English words can be found in North America (e.g. colour vs. color) the spelling of English words is occasionally different in the United Kingdom.

We believe this is an excellent resource for teaching French culture as it covers celebrations, festivals and holidays for each month of the year. It deserves to be made available to our North American educators.
